Saddle Seats For Musicians
I ordered this and the k&m 14091 at the same time. Both are of equivalent high quality - I wouldn’t say this is noticeably better than the k&m although is was a bit more expensive at the time of buying (the k&m has a saddle style seat though which may not be to everyone’s taste). Very pleased with it - comfortable and sturdy

Die Installation ist in rd. 10 - 15 Minuten erledigt: die 5 Füße in den Fußkranz eingerastet, Gasdruckfeder rein, Fußauflage an den Steher und das Sitzkissen mit Höhenverstellung rauf - fertig.

Als nächstes wurde der Fußablagekranz in der Höhe eingestellt. Hält auf Druck ohne dabei den Steher zu beschädigen - va.: er hält! Ich bin die klassische Gitarrenhaltung gewohnt und er hat bisher kein Quäntchen nachgegeben (hab' so ca. 75kg). Somit ist meine Fußschemelsammlung hinfällig - yes.
Als einziger, kleiner Wermutstropfen wäre die Bildung von kleinen Wölbungen beim Lederbezug zu erwähnen. Ist eig. klar: das Leder verliert nach längerer Benutzung etwas die Spannung - stört mit jedoch überhaupt nicht. Sitzkomfort auch bei Leute mit eher weniger Sitzfleisch: klares sehr gut (nicht zu hart und nicht zu weich).

Der Aufbau ist sehr einfach. Es im Paket waren 4 Teile: die Beine (mit schon montierten Rädern), der Ring für die Füße, die Stange und der Sitz. Die Sachen muss man einfach nur zusammenstecken und das wars. Alles hält und fällt auch nicht auseinander, wenn man den Stuhl mal hochhebt.

Nur den Ring für die Füße muss noch mit der Hand über einen Drehknauf festmachen. Dadurch, dass man das kann, ist der auch frei höhenverstellbar. Das ist sehr gut. Ich empfinde es aber etwas schwer, dieses Teil so festzudrehen, dass es auch hält, wenn man sein Füße draufstellt. Das könnte durch aus noch verbessert werden. Da die meisten, das wahrscheinlich nur ein-/zweimal machen ist das auch nicht so dramatisch.
Insgesamt finde ich den Stuhl sehr gut. Nur der Preis ist schon happig. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob das gerechtfertigt ist.
Zur Langlebigkeit, kann ich nichts sagen, da ich den Stuhl erst einige Tage habe. Aber hoffe keinen zweiten Stuhl mehr zu kaufen. Zumindest für die nächsten 15 Jahre+ nicht mehr. Ein ordentlicher Bürostuhl schafft das meiner Erfahrung nach auch.
