HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN TO PLAY GUITAR? There is no set answer for how long it takes to learn. With regular practice, a basic level of playing can be accomplished in a few months. Most of our students take lessons on a long-term basis because they want to be constantly improving, and they find lessons enjoyable.
We get it: as an adult student or a younger student with many extra curricular activities, it can be hard to find the time. Our instructors will encourage you to make time to practice. They’ll help you do that by giving you short, effective and fun exercises that you can do easily throughout the day because practice makes progress, whether it’s 5 minutes or 60. And, we’re confident that once you get started, you’ll fall in love with the guitar and never want to put it down!
Yes. Even if you don’t have a musical background you can ask the teacher for advice on how to help your child practice. By simply monitoring that they are doing exercises a certain number of times per day the student will progress. Parents will occasionally sit in on their child’s music lesson to get an idea of the proper way a song should sound or how the student should be positioning their hands.
