The ebay seller makes some cool bodies that end auction pretty cheap (I think I paid $80 for that body). They are cut on a CNC machine, not too rough, but no jack or wire holes cut. I bought two of his necks as well, they are nice necks, not a fan of the 12 radius, but I can live with it for the price.
I am pretty proud of this one. Plus I am digging the low B. Sounds so heavy. It is stung with 12s, D'Addario - and the 12 wasn't long enough to reach the peg. I found that Rotosound strings are long enough (so it has an 11 right now as the high B). Never had a longer scale guitar like this, any ideas on other company that sell longer than usual high E and B strings in the sets? The tension feels great with the 12s, but I want to try 13s to thicken it up a bit.
That's gorgeous! Presuming it's tuned to B what gauge strings are you running? That body is like nothing I've seen before. I just posted a completed baritone project a couple of days ago but it's a different animal to yours. Love the natural vibe!!!

I tried a set of D'Addario Nickel Wound, Jazz Light, 12-52 which is - Plain Steel .012, .016, Nickel Wound .024, .032, .042, .052
But the steel .012 didn't fit, not long enough. So there is a rotosound .011 for the high B on there now. The .016 barely fit, maybe one wind around the post Long scale length + the jazzmaster/jaguar tailpiece requires a pretty long string.

I have an extra set of D'Addario Nickel Wound, Jazz Medium, 13-56 to try - but probably wont use them due to the short high strings. The guitar center near me didn't have any baritone strings at all (or I couldn't find any, the guy behind the counter was clueless).
