Ich habe mir das Um2 gekauft um damit neue Songs für die Bandprobe aufzunehmen. Da ich alle Spuren nacheinander einspiele reicht es völlig aus. Genial ist das Direct Monitoring, damit hatte ich keinerlei Latenzprobleme mehr. Das Gehäuse ist aus Kunststoff und recht stabil, aber nicht Bühnentauglich. Macht nichts, ich nutze es ja nur am heimischen PC. Das Um2 funktioniert bei mir mit Audacity, Guitar Rig 5 und Reaper. Alles unter Windows 7 und Windows 10. Wer also ein günstiges USB interface sucht und nur max. 2 Spuren gleichzeitig aufnehmen möchte sollte zugreifen.
Es läuft hier mit ardour an einem Rechner, auf dem Kubuntu 16.04 installiert ist. Einstecken, device auswählen, loslegen. Einfacher gehts wirklich nicht. TOP!
