I use it all the time to input arpeggios and parts that would take me forever with a mouse, it’s also so easy to pack I can take it on the road with my laptop and keep working wherever we end up.
Jammy at first was kind of replacing some of the guitar stuff that I was doing, but increasingly it became a thing of its own. As a MIDI controller, it opens up a lot of possibilities.
I use it to play a lot of melodic lines in Ableton Live with the Middle Eastern instruments like oud and duduk. I also use it to play synths

I’ve tried multiple guitar-to-MIDI converters and found them unusable because of the latency — it takes at least one full period of the fundamental frequency oscillation to recognize the pitch.
Beautiful concept and design. I mostly use it as a midi controller for composing and it's really helpful. It's portable and battery powered, and having onboard sounds let me use it anywhere to practice scales, chords... where I don't have a real guitar. Support team is awesome too. Very fast and always hearing customers to improve playability and to add new fearures. I'm willing to see what's coming. Great!!
Wonderful gear. I’ve started working with it on my new film right after I bought it. It is very easy to work with, very quick to respond to play in DAW. has many good tones to directly Plug & record. A quick & easy control on cell phone settings so you don’t have to do all the complicated works in the DAW. I’ve just got a little loose with the 3 string but that won’t affect anything when using it as a midi controller. The support team responds very quickly & keeps digging in for feedback. They gave me a few video references to fix the loosen problem which I do appreciate, though I haven’t got the courage to follow due to my poor engineering ability. Generally speaking, I’m satisfied with this gear. I believe this could work for a lot of film composers who can play guitar, get used to working with virtual instruments & midi controllers. Oh a bonus is: I can play the drums with the guitar now, which is a very unspeakable experience!

I just tried the most recent Firmware 1.6.1. and It's like a completely new instrument, as opposed to the previous FW iterations. The sensitivity settings panel has been completely rewritten and I find the the responsiveness and tracking, vastly improved. I can't say enough about the companies dedication to their product and tech support's responsiveness to the users
First off, great customer service! I received my Jammy, and there was a small product fix needed. The Jammy team was super responsive, and gave me great how-tos to fix it, without the need to send mine back in. As for the product, they are constantly making improvements to the app and firmware. I use my Jammy in a mobile rig, helping me to learn guitar on the go, and it is an ideal backpack companion. It's a solid product, and look forward to the next releases.

I've just received my Jammy guitar and it's AWESOME !!! I'd seen some 'mixed reviews' by a guy on YouTube, so didn't know what to expect, but I'm delighted with it. Yes, you need to set it up / adjust it for your way of playing. - but I've had to do that for EVERY new guitar I've ever played. Well done guys and gals - great job producing this guitar. Thanks.
Jammy is perfect for MIDI control and for travel. There are some slight differences between it and a regular guitar, like the ability to change tuning on the fly, or apply digital effects without pedals. It is awesome on long plane or train rides for working on left and right hand technique.💪🤘
