Four Effect Buttons can be assigned individually per Rig. Use these to toggle pre- and post amp FX, either singly or in groups, as well as Action & Freeze functions such as Delay Infinity. Setting them up is easier than putting a new contact into your cell phone: click Effect Button, choose FX, assign, done.
Up to four expression pedals can be connected to control continuous parameters of the sound. Alternatively, external switches can be connected for even more toggling functions.
The PROFILER Stage™ features dedicated Stereo Monitor Outputs for driving two either full range or standard guitar cabinets (NOTE: no power amp included) simultaneously and independently from the direct stereo feed. Two stereo effect loops with stereo returns for each allow for connecting both pedals and outboard studio effects.

Five buttons allow you to directly access five different sounds (Rigs) and entire Performances can be switched using a bank system. Dedicated buttons let you access the tuner, tap in the tempo, and enable the new, exclusive looper effect.
The Remote connects via a single Ethernet cable to your PROFILER. No extra power supply is required, and the included cable is seven meters long (21ft). Longer distances are possible if required.

There is something magic about loopers. Doesn’t matter if you use them to create layered worlds of sound or to rehearse the complex middle-8 of your last composition.
With a single click on a button, the Remote turns into a fully-fledged looper control station. Loops can be recorded, overdubbed and deleted by using the buttons on the board. You can reverse, play at half speed and undo takes. The maximum duration of a loop is thirty seconds (or one minute in half speed). The Looper is exclusively available to Remote users.
Four buttons, individually assignable for each Rig, can control multiple effects at the same time. In order to associate an effect with a button, all you need to do is hold the Effect Button of your choice on the Remote and press an effect module button on your PROFILER at the same time. Done. Status color LEDs give you a great overview on assignments and purpose of a switch/ pedal.

Connector to ensure the most robust connection possible on stage. By using a powered ethernet hub, distances in excess of 100 m (300 ft) can be bridged with a simple Ethernet cable.
The four TRS connectors on the rear panel can be used for expression pedals and switches. Pedals can be used to control volume, wah, pitch and even combinations of multiple continuous parameters - all freely configurable by Rig. The Kemper profiling technique allows the creation of a very precise sonic image (profile) of an existing amplifier configuration (including cabinet and microphone pickup). Thanks to the many internal processing options such as various ground effect emulations (up to 4 at a time), master effects, equaliser, gain, amp definition, power sagging etc., the sound created can then be processed far beyond the possibilities of the original amplifier. However, the Kemper Profiling Amplifier is also already delivered with a large number of outstanding amplifier profiles, which is why it is not absolutely necessary to create your own profiles. This makes it possible from the first time to exactly reproduce the sound of your own amplifier, to modify it (if desired) and to have it available for practising, in the studio or on stage without a lot of lugging around.
