This guitar sounds absolutely fabulous plugged in. If you are in the market for that smooth nylon sound, you'll want to have these Yamahas on your short list. The neck has a truss rod, and it's wider than a steel-string acoustic neck, but more narrow than a classical neck. Combined with a slightly radiused fingerboard, this guitar is a great solution for acoustic and electric players who want to give nylon a try. If you do not intend to plug it in, this may not be the guitar for you. Don't get me wrong, it sounds nice unplugged, but it absolutely shines when plugged in.
This specific guitar has very pretty figuring on the back. I have not seen this in photos or in person on any other NTX. The finish is slightly blemished at the neck joint, otherwise this guitar is in excellent condition. It plays and sounds great. There is plenty of meat on the saddle, so the action can be made lower if desired.
